Comic Book Review: Countdown To Infinite Crisis

This comic book follows the Blue Beetle as he discovers the inner workings of the JLA (Justice League of America). This 80 page issue features many of your favourite JLA heroes and villains as well. The Blue Beetle being a rather newer character that is used as the narrator of how the justice league really operates. Focusing mainly around the characters of Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern with appearances from Booster Gold, Red Tornado, Shazam, Cyborg, Hawkman, Hawkgirl and the Flash. Pretty much the main JLA.

The Blue Beetle is sort of on the outside looking in, all in all this comic book was really interesting. I would highly suggest it for a new reader because it’s basic enough to communicate and introduce the reader to the Justice League and complex enough that it makes for a good read. Now in this comic it gives you a little bit of a perspective on what the villains are working on as well. Clearly they are devising some sort of plan they wish to unhatch onto the unsuspecting world. The Blue Beetle is on the case, and he’s looking for answers in the league. Now I’m not going to spoil the ending but I must warn you this comic stems into a series of infinite crisis comics.

This comic is rated PG 14 and I give it a 5 out of 5 stars.
